The Lord brought my family to the Oasis in the Desert, in 1971 a time of  my high school year that should have been an exciting time of me looking forward to me being a junior in high school. As we drive in the night, it was all lit up and thought we had finally arrived to a big city but to be awaken in the morning to find it was the desert! That the military, Air Force branch, has assigned my father to nowhere land. The desert was the place God called us to in order to clip our wings of transitioning from our security blanket of living on military bases to entering the civilian world with my parents purchasing a home in Alamogordo, Otero County, New Mexico. 

This desert has opened many doors of blessings: Ordained Elder at the Joy Center, my home church; retired after many years as Escrow Officer / Title Officer from local title company; currently Otero County Probate Judge.  God planted me here in the desert where life began as I finally said, “YES LORD!”
